Dark Matter is a new collection of mine that focuses heavily on dark photographs with pops of colour. The collection has taken several years to create. With a mix of abstract ocean images and also astrophotography, this collection brings the best of a dark colour palette and combines them with equally impressive frames and black matboards.
The first concept for "Dark Matter" originated back in 2017 when I was photographing the ocean at night. Whilst swimming in the ocean under a full moon there was an incredible feeling of being small and alone. A speckle in the grand scheme of things.
