January 02, 2017
Well it’s official, 2016 has now officially ended and we look forward to what 2017 might throw our way. I can’t be more thankful for all the experiences I’ve had throughout the year, some of them were tough and a lot of them extremely rewarding. I’ve learned a lot about myself and even more about business then I could’ve imagined.
Over the past year, I’ve met a heap of unreal people and couples that want me as their wedding photographer. I’ve captured intimate moments at their weddings and have been blown away by the reactions of the couples and their friends and family. If you’re asking yourself where are the wedding photographs you will need to head on over to Blank Canvas Photography for all the portrait and wedding photography that I captured.
In regards to the surf front on the Gold Coast, in my opinion, it’s been a little uneventful. There certainly has been some waves around here and there but unfortunately for me, they haven’t lined up with my schedule and other work commitments with Blank Canvas Photography. Not having a huge choice of surf conditions means I haven’t captured anywhere near as much ocean art and surf photography as I’d like to.
Along comes 2017 and I haven’t exactly worked out what I’d like to achieve for this year but I certainly know of a creative achievement I’d like to pursue. Over the next six to twelve months I’m hoping to produce a lot more video content for my followers. It’s something that has been on my mind for almost 2 years but I’m constantly drawn to photographing still images like this beautiful sunrise I captured on the 1st of January 2017.
Wishing everyone an epic 2017 and make the most of what you have.
